| CVE-2022-49882 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-10 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Reject attempts to consume or refresh inactive gfn_to_pfn_cache Reject kvm_gpc_check() and kvm_gpc_refresh() if the cache is inactive. Not checking the active flag during refresh is particularly egregious, as KVM can end up with a valid, inactive cache, which can lead to a variety of use-after-free bugs, e.g. consuming a NULL kernel pointer or missing an mmu_notifier invalidation due to the cache not being on the list of gfns to invalidate. Note, "active" needs to be set if and only if the cache is on the list of caches, i.e. is reachable via mmu_notifier events. If a relevant mmu_notifier event occurs while the cache is "active" but not on the list, KVM will not acquire the cache's lock and so will not serailize the mmu_notifier event with active users and/or kvm_gpc_refresh(). A race between KVM_XEN_ATTR_TYPE_SHARED_INFO and KVM_XEN_HVM_EVTCHN_SEND can be exploited to trigger the bug. 1. Deactivate shinfo cache: kvm_xen_hvm_set_attr case KVM_XEN_ATTR_TYPE_SHARED_INFO kvm_gpc_deactivate kvm_gpc_unmap gpc->valid = false gpc->khva = NULL gpc->active = false Result: active = false, valid = false 2. | CVE-2021-3156 | 9 Beyondtrust, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 38 Privilege Management For Mac, Privilege Management For Unix\/linux, Debian Linux and 35 more | 2025-11-10 | 7.8 High |
| Sudo before 1.9.5p2 contains an off-by-one error that can result in a heap-based buffer overflow, which allows privilege escalation to root via "sudoedit -s" and a command-line argument that ends with a single backslash character. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5215 | 1 Redhat | 3 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux, Libnbd | 2025-11-08 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libnbd. A server can reply with a block size larger than 2^63 (the NBD spec states the size is a 64-bit unsigned value). This issue could lead to an application crash or other unintended behavior for NBD clients that doesn't treat the return value of the nbd_get_size() function correctly. | ||||
| CVE-2020-28949 | 5 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 3 more | 2025-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| Archive_Tar through 1.4.10 has :// filename sanitization only to address phar attacks, and thus any other stream-wrapper attack (such as file:// to overwrite files) can still succeed. | ||||
| CVE-2020-36193 | 5 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 3 more | 2025-11-07 | 7.5 High |
| Tar.php in Archive_Tar through 1.4.11 allows write operations with Directory Traversal due to inadequate checking of symbolic links, a related issue to CVE-2020-28948. | ||||
| CVE-2020-11023 | 8 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 78 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 75 more | 2025-11-07 | 6.9 Medium |
| In jQuery versions greater than or equal to 1.0.3 and before 3.5.0, passing HTML containing <option> elements from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. This problem is patched in jQuery 3.5.0. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49787 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: sdhci-pci: Fix possible memory leak caused by missing pci_dev_put() pci_get_device() will increase the reference count for the returned pci_dev. We need to use pci_dev_put() to decrease the reference count before amd_probe() returns. There is no problem for the 'smbus_dev == NULL' branch because pci_dev_put() can also handle the NULL input parameter case. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49804 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390: avoid using global register for current_stack_pointer Commit 30de14b1884b ("s390: current_stack_pointer shouldn't be a function") made current_stack_pointer a global register variable like on many other architectures. Unfortunately on s390 it uncovers old gcc bug which is fixed only since gcc-9.1 [gcc commit 3ad7fed1cc87 ("S/390: Fix PR89775. Stackpointer save/restore instructions removed")] and backported to gcc-8.4 and later. Due to this bug gcc versions prior to 8.4 generate broken code which leads to stack corruptions. Current minimal gcc version required to build the kernel is declared as 5.1. It is not possible to fix all old gcc versions, so work around this problem by avoiding using global register variable for current_stack_pointer. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49815 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: fix missing xas_retry() in fscache mode The xarray iteration only holds the RCU read lock and thus may encounter XA_RETRY_ENTRY if there's process modifying the xarray concurrently. This will cause oops when referring to the invalid entry. Fix this by adding the missing xas_retry(), which will make the iteration wind back to the root node if XA_RETRY_ENTRY is encountered. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49778 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |

| CVE-2024-52316 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-11-07 | 9.8 Critical |
| Unchecked Error Condition vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. If Tomcat is configured to use a custom Jakarta Authentication (formerly JASPIC) ServerAuthContext component which may throw an exception during the authentication process without explicitly setting an HTTP status to indicate failure, the authentication may not fail, allowing the user to bypass the authentication process. There are no known Jakarta Authentication components that behave in this way. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M26, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.30, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.95. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0, 10.1.31 or 9.0.96, which fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4061 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Wildfly Core | 2025-11-07 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in wildfly-core. A management user could use the resolve-expression in the HAL Interface to read possible sensitive information from the Wildfly system. This issue could allow a malicious user to access the system and obtain possible sensitive information from the system. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36387 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Http Server, Ontap, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-11-06 | 5.4 Medium |
| Serving WebSocket protocol upgrades over a HTTP/2 connection could result in a Null Pointer dereference, leading to a crash of the server process, degrading performance. | ||||
| CVE-2024-5696 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-11-06 | 8.6 High |
| By manipulating the text in an `<input>` tag, an attacker could have caused corrupt memory leading to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 127, Firefox ESR < 115.12, and Thunderbird < 115.12. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0690 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 8 Fedora, Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform and 5 more | 2025-11-06 | 5 Medium |
| An information disclosure flaw was found in ansible-core due to a failure to respect the ANSIBLE_NO_LOG configuration in some scenarios. Information is still included in the output in certain tasks, such as loop items. Depending on the task, this issue may include sensitive information, such as decrypted secret values. | ||||
| CVE-2019-13272 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel before 5.1.17, ptrace_link in kernel/ptrace.c mishandles the recording of the credentials of a process that wants to create a ptrace relationship, which allows local users to obtain root access by leveraging certain scenarios with a parent-child process relationship, where a parent drops privileges and calls execve (potentially allowing control by an attacker). One contributing factor is an object lifetime issue (which can also cause a panic). Another contributing factor is incorrect marking of a ptrace relationship as privileged, which is exploitable through (for example) Polkit's pkexec helper with PTRACE_TRACEME. NOTE: SELinux deny_ptrace might be a usable workaround in some environments. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3560 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Polkit Project and 1 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Polkit and 7 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| It was found that polkit could be tricked into bypassing the credential checks for D-Bus requests, elevating the privileges of the requestor to the root user. This flaw could be used by an unprivileged local attacker to, for example, create a new local administrator. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2022-0847 | 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more | 42 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 39 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2022-0185 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 20 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 17 more | 2025-11-06 | 8.4 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the legacy_parse_param function in the Filesystem Context functionality of the Linux kernel verified the supplied parameters length. An unprivileged (in case of unprivileged user namespaces enabled, otherwise needs namespaced CAP_SYS_ADMIN privilege) local user able to open a filesystem that does not support the Filesystem Context API (and thus fallbacks to legacy handling) could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system. | ||||
