| CVE-2026-31568 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/mm: Add missing secure storage access fixups for donated memory There are special cases where secure storage access exceptions happen in a kernel context for pages that don't have the PG_arch_1 bit set. That bit is set for non-exported guest secure storage (memory) but is absent on storage donated to the Ultravisor since the kernel isn't allowed to export donated pages. Prior to this patch we would try to export the page by calling arch_make_folio_accessible() which would instantly return since the arch bit is absent signifying that the page was already exported and no further action is necessary. This leads to secure storage access exception loops which can never be resolved. With this patch we unconditionally try to export and if that fails we fixup. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxl/mbox: validate payload size before accessing contents in cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() casts and dereferences the input payload without first verifying its size. When a raw mailbox command is sent with an undersized payload (ie: 1 byte for CXL_MBOX_OP_CLEAR_LOG, which expects a 16-byte UUID), uuid_equal() reads past the allocated buffer, triggering a KASAN splat: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in memcmp+0x176/0x1d0 lib/string.c:683 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88810130f5c0 by task syz.1.62/2258 CPU: 2 UID: 0 PID: 2258 Comm: syz.1.62 Not tainted 6.19.0-dirty #3 PREEMPT(voluntary) Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS rel-1.17.0-0-gb52ca86e094d-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 Call Trace: <TASK> __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:94 [inline] dump_stack_lvl+0xab/0xe0 lib/dump_stack.c:120 print_address_description mm/kasan/report.c:378 [inline] print_report+0xce/0x650 mm/kasan/report.c:482 kasan_report+0xce/0x100 mm/kasan/report.c:595 memcmp+0x176/0x1d0 lib/string.c:683 uuid_equal include/linux/uuid.h:73 [inline] cxl_payload_from_user_allowed drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:345 [inline] cxl_mbox_cmd_ctor drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:368 [inline] cxl_validate_cmd_from_user drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:522 [inline] cxl_send_cmd+0x9c0/0xb50 drivers/cxl/core/mbox.c:643 __cxl_memdev_ioctl drivers/cxl/core/memdev.c:698 [inline] cxl_memdev_ioctl+0x14f/0x190 drivers/cxl/core/memdev.c:713 vfs_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:51 [inline] __do_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:597 [inline] __se_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:583 [inline] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x18e/0x210 fs/ioctl.c:583 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xa8/0x330 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f RIP: 0033:0x7fdaf331ba79 Code: ff ff c3 66 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 0f 1f 40 00 48 89 f8 48 89 f7 48 89 d6 48 89 ca 4d 89 c2 4d 89 c8 4c 8b 4c 24 08 0f 05 <48> 3d 01 f0 ff ff 73 01 c3 48 c7 c1 a8 ff ff ff f7 d8 64 89 01 48 RSP: 002b:00007fdaf1d77038 EFLAGS: 00000246 ORIG_RAX: 0000000000000010 RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 00007fdaf3585fa0 RCX: 00007fdaf331ba79 RDX: 00002000000001c0 RSI: 00000000c030ce02 RDI: 0000000000000003 RBP: 00007fdaf33749df R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000246 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 00007fdaf3586038 R14: 00007fdaf3585fa0 R15: 00007ffced2af768 </TASK> Add 'in_size' parameter to cxl_payload_from_user_allowed() and validate the payload is large enough. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71306 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: Fix stack-out-of-bounds in is_bprm_creds_for_exec() KASAN reported a stack-out-of-bounds access in ima_appraise_measurement from is_bprm_creds_for_exec: BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in ima_appraise_measurement+0x12dc/0x16a0 Read of size 1 at addr ffffc9000160f940 by task sudo/550 The buggy address belongs to stack of task sudo/550 and is located at offset 24 in frame: ima_appraise_measurement+0x0/0x16a0 This frame has 2 objects: [48, 56) 'file' [80, 148) 'hash' This is caused by using container_of on the *file pointer. This offset calculation is what triggers the stack-out-of-bounds error. In order to fix this, pass in a bprm_is_check boolean which can be set depending on how process_measurement is called. If the caller has a linux_binprm pointer and the function is BPRM_CHECK we can determine is_check and set it then. Otherwise set it to false. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38636 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rv: Use strings in da monitors tracepoints Using DA monitors tracepoints with KASAN enabled triggers the following warning: BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in do_trace_event_raw_event_event_da_monitor+0xd6/0x1a0 Read of size 32 at addr ffffffffaada8980 by task ... Call Trace: <TASK> [...] do_trace_event_raw_event_event_da_monitor+0xd6/0x1a0 ? __pfx_do_trace_event_raw_event_event_da_monitor+0x10/0x10 ? trace_event_sncid+0x83/0x200 trace_event_sncid+0x163/0x200 [...] The buggy address belongs to the variable: automaton_snep+0x4e0/0x5e0 This is caused by the tracepoints reading 32 bytes __array instead of __string from the automata definition. Such strings are literals and reading 32 bytes ends up in out of bound memory accesses (e.g. the next automaton's data in this case). The error is harmless as, while printing the string, we stop at the null terminator, but it should still be fixed. Use the __string facilities while defining the tracepoints to avoid reading out of bound memory. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38292 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix invalid access to memory In ath12k_dp_rx_msdu_coalesce(), rxcb is fetched from skb and boolean is_continuation is part of rxcb. Currently, after freeing the skb, the rxcb->is_continuation accessed again which is wrong since the memory is already freed. This might lead use-after-free error. Hence, fix by locally defining bool is_continuation from rxcb, so that after freeing skb, is_continuation can be used. Compile tested only. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: fix array-index-out-of-bounds read in add_missing_indices stbl is s8 but it must contain offsets into slot which can go from 0 to 127. Added a bound check for that error and return -EIO if the check fails. Also make jfs_readdir return with error if add_missing_indices returns with an error. | ||||
| CVE-2025-21650 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hns3: fixed hclge_fetch_pf_reg accesses bar space out of bounds issue The TQP BAR space is divided into two segments. TQPs 0-1023 and TQPs 1024-1279 are in different BAR space addresses. However, hclge_fetch_pf_reg does not distinguish the tqp space information when reading the tqp space information. When the number of TQPs is greater than 1024, access bar space overwriting occurs. The problem of different segments has been considered during the initialization of tqp.io_base. Therefore, tqp.io_base is directly used when the queue is read in hclge_fetch_pf_reg. The error message: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff800037200000 pc : hclge_fetch_pf_reg+0x138/0x250 [hclge] lr : hclge_get_regs+0x84/0x1d0 [hclge] Call trace: hclge_fetch_pf_reg+0x138/0x250 [hclge] hclge_get_regs+0x84/0x1d0 [hclge] hns3_get_regs+0x2c/0x50 [hns3] ethtool_get_regs+0xf4/0x270 dev_ethtool+0x674/0x8a0 dev_ioctl+0x270/0x36c sock_do_ioctl+0x110/0x2a0 sock_ioctl+0x2ac/0x530 __arm64_sys_ioctl+0xa8/0x100 invoke_syscall+0x4c/0x124 el0_svc_common.constprop.0+0x140/0x15c do_el0_svc+0x30/0xd0 el0_svc+0x1c/0x2c el0_sync_handler+0xb0/0xb4 el0_sync+0x168/0x180 | ||||
| CVE-2024-53147 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: fix out-of-bounds access of directory entries In the case of the directory size is greater than or equal to the cluster size, if start_clu becomes an EOF cluster(an invalid cluster) due to file system corruption, then the directory entry where ei->hint_femp.eidx hint is outside the directory, resulting in an out-of-bounds access, which may cause further file system corruption. This commit adds a check for start_clu, if it is an invalid cluster, the file or directory will be treated as empty. | ||||
| CVE-2024-49970 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Implement bounds check for stream encoder creation in DCN401 'stream_enc_regs' array is an array of dcn10_stream_enc_registers structures. The array is initialized with four elements, corresponding to the four calls to stream_enc_regs() in the array initializer. This means that valid indices for this array are 0, 1, 2, and 3. The error message 'stream_enc_regs' 4 <= 5 below, is indicating that there is an attempt to access this array with an index of 5, which is out of bounds. This could lead to undefined behavior Here, eng_id is used as an index to access the stream_enc_regs array. If eng_id is 5, this would result in an out-of-bounds access on the stream_enc_regs array. Thus fixing Buffer overflow error in dcn401_stream_encoder_create Found by smatch: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../display/dc/resource/dcn401/dcn401_resource.c:1209 dcn401_stream_encoder_create() error: buffer overflow 'stream_enc_regs' 4 <= 5 | ||||
| CVE-2024-42162 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: Account for stopped queues when reading NIC stats We now account for the fact that the NIC might send us stats for a subset of queues. Without this change, gve_get_ethtool_stats might make an invalid access on the priv->stats_report->stats array. | ||||

| CVE-2026-15565 | 1 Redhat | 13 Build Of Apache Camel For Spring Boot, Camel Spring Boot, Data Grid 8 and 10 more | 2026-10-21 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Undertow. A remote attacker can cause Out of Memory on websockets endpoint without authentication on any @ServerEndpoint class that has any @OnMessage method. This allows an attacker to cause Denial of Service attack without authentication and using only a standard WebSocket handshake. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84268 | 1 Redhat | 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 5 more | 2026-10-21 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the SFTP backend in gvfs. When mounting a share and reading a file, a malicious SFTP server can cause read_reply() to process a length that exceeds the size requested by the client. The function does not verify the server-provided length against the allocated buffer size, causing the operation to write past the intended boundaries. This issue allows a malicious server to corrupt adjacent heap memory in the gvfsd-sftp process, resulting in a denial of service as the process aborts upon detecting the heap corruption or potentially allowing arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112202 | 2026-10-21 | N/A | ||
| Imager::File::GIF versions before 1.006 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads when consolidating GIF images. With `gif_consolidate => 1`, palette indices from the image are used without checking the colour table's bounds. The i_readgif_low routine reads beyond the heap allocation and copies the bytes into output pixels. The default GIF reader is not affected. The same code ships bundled in the Imager distribution. An attacker supplying a crafted GIF can disclose adjacent heap memory through the decoded output and may crash the process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111375 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-21 | 4.8 Medium |
| FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Windows RAIL client that allows malicious RDP servers to trigger heap over-reads by sending non-NUL-terminated window titles. Attackers can send a full-length WINDOW_ORDER_FIELD_TITLE update that wf_rail_window_common passes to SetWindowTextW, corrupting titles or crashing the client. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111155 | 1 Sezero | 1 Libtimidity | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| libTiMidity through 0.2.8 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the SoundFont loader in src/sndfont.c that uses unvalidated sampleId and instrument generator values as table indices. Attackers can supply a crafted .sf2 file loaded through mid_set_soundfont() to read heap memory out of bounds and crash the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111150 | 1 Valleybell | 1 Libvgm | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| ValleyBell libvgm through commit a6eed945 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the PCM data-block decompressor caused by an unbounded compression-table index. Attackers can supply a crafted .vgm file with a small type 0x7F table and wider compressed values, causing DecompressDataBlk to over-read heap memory and crash consumers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111145 | 1 Ytnef Project | 1 Ytnef | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| ytnef through 2.1.2 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in DecompressRTF() in lib/ytnef.c that never validates uncompressedSize for uncompressed RTF streams. Attackers can supply a crafted winmail.dat TNEF attachment with a malicious PT_BINARY MAPI property to crash ytnefprint or libytnef callers and leak adjacent heap memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111140 | 1 Libyal | 1 Libregf | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| libregf through 20260526 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in libregf_value_item_read_value_data() because it bounds value data size without subtracting the 4-byte old-format cell offset. Attackers can supply a crafted version 1.0/1.1 REGF hive with a value data cell ending its hive bin to leak adjacent heap bytes or crash parsers like regfexport and plaso. | ||||
