| Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 148.0.2. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-27854 | 1 Powerdns | 1 Dnsdist | 2026-04-15 | 4.8 Medium |
| An attacker might be able to trigger a use-after-free by sending crafted DNS queries to a DNSdist using the DNSQuestion:getEDNSOptions method in custom Lua code. In some cases DNSQuestion:getEDNSOptions might refer to a version of the DNS packet that has been modified, thus triggering a use-after-free and potentially a crash resulting in denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3777 | 4 Apple, Foxit, Foxitsoftware and 1 more | 6 Macos, Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| The application does not properly validate the lifetime and validity of internal view cache pointers after JavaScript changes the document zoom and page state. When a script modifies the zoom property and then triggers a page change, the original view object may be destroyed while stale pointers are still kept and later dereferenced, which under crafted JavaScript and document structures can lead to a use-after-free condition and potentially allow arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5877 | 4 Apple, Google, Linux and 1 more | 4 Macos, Chrome, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-04-15 | 8.8 High |
| Use after free in Navigation in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-34734 | 1 Hdfgroup | 1 Hdf5 | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| HDF5 is software for managing data. In 1.14.1-2 and earlier, a heap-use-after-free was found in the h5dump helper utility. An attacker who can supply a malicious h5 file can trigger a heap use-after-free. The freed object is referenced in a memmove call from H5T__conv_struct. The original object was allocated by H5D__typeinfo_init_phase3 and freed by H5D__typeinfo_term. | ||||
| CVE-2026-34983 | 1 Bytecodealliance | 1 Wasmtime | 2026-04-15 | 5.0 Medium |
| Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. In 43.0.0, cloning a wasmtime::Linker is unsound and can result in use-after-free bugs. This bug is not controllable by guest Wasm programs. It can only be triggered by a specific sequence of embedder API calls made by the host. Specifically, the following steps must occur to trigger the bug clone a wasmtime::Linker, drop the original linker instance, use the new, cloned linker instance, resulting in a use-after-free. This vulnerability is fixed in 43.0.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-31083 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the ProcRenderAddGlyphs() function of Xorg servers. This issue occurs when AllocateGlyph() is called to store new glyphs sent by the client to the X server, potentially resulting in multiple entries pointing to the same non-refcounted glyphs. Consequently, ProcRenderAddGlyphs() may free a glyph, leading to a use-after-free scenario when the same glyph pointer is subsequently accessed. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system by sending a specially crafted request. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40885 | 1 Intel | 1 M20ntp Firmware | 2026-04-15 | 7.5 High |
| Use after free in the UEFI firmware of some Intel(R) Server M20NTP BIOS may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11677 | 1 Warmcat | 1 Libwebsockets | 2026-04-15 | 3.7 Low |
| Use After Free in WebSocket server implementation in lws_handshake_server in warmcat libwebsockets may allow an attacker, in specific configurations where the user provides a callback function that handles LWS_CALLBACK_HTTP_CONFIRM_UPGRADE, to achieve denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49014 | 1 Jqlang | 1 Jq | 2026-04-15 | 5.3 Medium |
| jq is a command-line JSON processor. In version 1.8.0 a heap use after free vulnerability exists within the function f_strflocaltime of /src/builtin.c. This issue has been patched in commit 499c91b, no known fix version exists at time of publication. | ||||
| CVE-2025-9449 | 1 Dassault | 1 Edrawings | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| A Use After Free vulnerability affecting the PAR file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings on Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2025 could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted PAR file. | ||||
| CVE-2024-38375 | 1 Fastly | 1 Js-compute | 2026-04-15 | 5.3 Medium |
| @fastly/js-compute is a JavaScript SDK and runtime for building Fastly Compute applications. The implementation of several functions were determined to include a use-after-free bug. This bug could allow for unintended data loss if the result of the preceding functions were sent anywhere else, and often results in a guest trap causing services to return a 500. This bug has been fixed in version 3.16.0 of the `@fastly/js-compute` package. | ||||
| CVE-2025-30194 | 1 Powerdns | 1 Dnsdist | 2026-04-15 | 7.5 High |
| When DNSdist is configured to provide DoH via the nghttp2 provider, an attacker can cause a denial of service by crafting a DoH exchange that triggers an illegal memory access (double-free) and crash of DNSdist, causing a denial of service. The remedy is: upgrade to the patched 1.9.9 version. A workaround is to temporarily switch to the h2o provider until DNSdist has been upgraded to a fixed version. We would like to thank Charles Howes for bringing this issue to our attention. | ||||
| CVE-2025-52885 | 1 Poppler | 1 Poppler | 2026-04-15 | 6.2 Medium |
| Poppler ia a library for rendering PDF files, and examining or modifying their structure. A use-after-free (write) vulnerability has been detected in versions Poppler prior to 25.10.0 within the StructTreeRoot class. The issue arises from the use of raw pointers to elements of a `std::vector`, which can lead to dangling pointers when the vector is resized. The vulnerability stems from the way that refToParentMap stores references to `std::vector` elements using raw pointers. These pointers may become invalid when the vector is resized. This vulnerability is a common security problem involving the use of raw pointers to `std::vectors`. Internally, `std::vector `stores its elements in a dynamically allocated array. When the array reaches its capacity and a new element is added, the vector reallocates a larger block of memory and moves all the existing elements to the new location. At this point if any pointers to elements are stored before a resize occurs, they become dangling pointers once the reallocation happens. Version 25.10.0 contains a patch for the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2025-24898 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-15 | 4.8 Medium |
| rust-openssl is a set of OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. In affected versions `ssl::select_next_proto` can return a slice pointing into the `server` argument's buffer but with a lifetime bound to the `client` argument. In situations where the `sever` buffer's lifetime is shorter than the `client` buffer's, this can cause a use after free. This could cause the server to crash or to return arbitrary memory contents to the client. The crate`openssl` version 0.10.70 fixes the signature of `ssl::select_next_proto` to properly constrain the output buffer's lifetime to that of both input buffers. Users are advised to upgrade. In standard usage of `ssl::select_next_proto` in the callback passed to `SslContextBuilder::set_alpn_select_callback`, code is only affected if the `server` buffer is constructed *within* the callback. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0147 | 1 Nvidia | 1 Gpu Display Driver | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| NVIDIA GPU display driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability where referencing memory after it has been freed can lead to denial of service or data tampering. | ||||
| CVE-2024-4741 | 2 Openssl, Redhat | 2 Openssl, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-15 | 7.5 High |
| Issue summary: Calling the OpenSSL API function SSL_free_buffers may cause memory to be accessed that was previously freed in some situations Impact summary: A use after free can have a range of potential consequences such as the corruption of valid data, crashes or execution of arbitrary code. However, only applications that directly call the SSL_free_buffers function are affected by this issue. Applications that do not call this function are not vulnerable. Our investigations indicate that this function is rarely used by applications. The SSL_free_buffers function is used to free the internal OpenSSL buffer used when processing an incoming record from the network. The call is only expected to succeed if the buffer is not currently in use. However, two scenarios have been identified where the buffer is freed even when still in use. The first scenario occurs where a record header has been received from the network and processed by OpenSSL, but the full record body has not yet arrived. In this case calling SSL_free_buffers will succeed even though a record has only been partially processed and the buffer is still in use. The second scenario occurs where a full record containing application data has been received and processed by OpenSSL but the application has only read part of this data. Again a call to SSL_free_buffers will succeed even though the buffer is still in use. While these scenarios could occur accidentally during normal operation a malicious attacker could attempt to engineer a stituation where this occurs. We are not aware of this issue being actively exploited. The FIPS modules in 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2025-48945 | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium | ||
| pycares is a Python module which provides an interface to c-ares. c-ares is a C library that performs DNS requests and name resolutions asynchronously. Prior to version 4.9.0, pycares is vulnerable to a use-after-free condition that occurs when a Channel object is garbage collected while DNS queries are still pending. This results in a fatal Python error and interpreter crash. The vulnerability has been fixed in pycares 4.9.0 by implementing a safe channel destruction mechanism. | ||||
| CVE-2024-41168 | 2026-04-15 | 7.4 High | ||
| Use after free in some Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi and Killerâ„¢ WiFi software for Windows before version 23.80 may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. | ||||
| CVE-2025-50518 | 1 Libcoap | 1 Libcoap | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the coap_delete_pdu_lkd function within coap_pdu.c of the libcoap library. This issue occurs due to improper handling of memory after the freeing of a PDU object, leading to potential memory corruption or the possibility of executing arbitrary code. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because it only occurs when an application uses libcoap incorrectly. | ||||
