CVE-2024-36922 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-10-15 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: read txq->read_ptr under lock If we read txq->read_ptr without lock, we can read the same value twice, then obtain the lock, and reclaim from there to two different places, but crucially reclaim the same entry twice, resulting in the WARN_ONCE() a little later. Fix that by reading txq->read_ptr under lock.
CVE-2024-26957 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/zcrypt: fix reference counting on zcrypt card objects Tests with hot-plugging crytpo cards on KVM guests with debug kernel build revealed an use after free for the load field of the struct zcrypt_card. The reason was an incorrect reference handling of the zcrypt card object which could lead to a free of the zcrypt card object while it was still in use. This is an example of the slab message: kernel: 0x00000000885a7512-0x00000000885a7513 @offset=1298. CVE-2024-26679 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: read sk->sk_family once in inet_recv_error() inet_recv_error() is called without holding the socket lock. IPv6 socket could mutate to IPv4 with IPV6_ADDRFORM socket option and trigger a KCSAN warning.
CVE-2024-25062 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft 4 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus and 1 more 2026-10-15 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in libxml2 before 2.11.7 and 2.12.x before 2.12.5. When using the XML Reader interface with DTD validation and XInclude expansion enabled, processing crafted XML documents can lead to an xmlValidatePopElement use-after-free.
CVE-2024-0232 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sqlite 4 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-10-15 4.7 Medium
A heap use-after-free issue has been identified in SQLite in the jsonParseAddNodeArray() function in sqlite3.c. This flaw allows a local attacker to leverage a victim to pass specially crafted malicious input to the application, potentially causing a crash and leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-52927 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: allow exp not to be removed in nf_ct_find_expectation Currently nf_conntrack_in() calling nf_ct_find_expectation() will remove the exp from the hash table. However, in some scenario, we expect the exp not to be removed when the created ct will not be confirmed, like in OVS and TC conntrack in the following patches. This patch allows exp not to be removed by setting IPS_CONFIRMED in the status of the tmpl.
CVE-2023-45322 1 Xmlsoft 1 Libxml2 2026-10-15 6.5 Medium
libxml2 through 2.11.5 has a use-after-free that can only occur after a certain memory allocation fails. This occurs in xmlUnlinkNode in tree.c. NOTE: the vendor's position is "I don't think these issues are critical enough to warrant a CVE ID ... because an attacker typically can't control when memory allocations fail."
CVE-2023-40283 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 6 more 2026-10-15 7.8 High
An issue was discovered in l2cap_sock_release in net/bluetooth/l2cap_sock.c in the Linux kernel before 6.4.10. There is a use-after-free because the children of an sk are mishandled.
CVE-2023-35827 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 7.0 High
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 6.3.8. A use-after-free was found in ravb_remove in drivers/net/ethernet/renesas/ravb_main.c.
CVE-2023-32233 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 9 Linux Kernel, Hci Baseboard Management Controller, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2026-10-15 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel through 6.3.1, a use-after-free in Netfilter nf_tables when processing batch requests can be abused to perform arbitrary read and write operations on kernel memory. Unprivileged local users can obtain root privileges. This occurs because anonymous sets are mishandled.
CVE-2023-29469 3 Debian, Redhat, Xmlsoft 5 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 2 more 2026-10-14 6.5 Medium
An issue was discovered in libxml2 before 2.10.4. When hashing empty dict strings in a crafted XML document, xmlDictComputeFastKey in dict.c can produce non-deterministic values, leading to various logic and memory errors, such as a double free. This behavior occurs because there is an attempt to use the first byte of an empty string, and any value is possible (not solely the '\0' value).
CVE-2023-27537 4 Broadcom, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more 13 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Libcurl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more 2026-10-14 5.9 Medium
A double free vulnerability exists in libcurl <8.0.0 when sharing HSTS data between separate "handles". This sharing was introduced without considerations for do this sharing across separate threads but there was no indication of this fact in the documentation. Due to missing mutexes or thread locks, two threads sharing the same HSTS data could end up doing a double-free or use-after-free.
CVE-2023-25136 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Openbsd and 1 more 10 Fedora, 500f, 500f Firmware and 7 more 2026-10-14 6.5 Medium
OpenSSH server (sshd) 9.1 introduced a double-free vulnerability during options.kex_algorithms handling. This is fixed in OpenSSH 9.2. The double free can be leveraged, by an unauthenticated remote attacker in the default configuration, to jump to any location in the sshd address space. One third-party report states "remote code execution is theoretically possible."
CVE-2026-78457 1 Microsoft 9 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 6 more 2026-10-14 7 High

CVE-2023-5197 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-14 7.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Addition and removal of rules from chain bindings within the same transaction causes leads to use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit f15f29fd4779be8a418b66e9d52979bb6d6c2325.
CVE-2023-5178 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 10 Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager, Solidfire \& Hci Management Node and 7 more 2026-10-14 8.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c` in `nvmet_tcp_free_crypto` due to a logical bug in the NVMe/TCP subsystem in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a malicious user to cause a use-after-free and double-free problem, which may permit remote code execution or lead to local privilege escalation.
