CVSS v3.1 |
| Vikunja from 1.0.0-rc0 before 2.7.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in RecalculateTaskPositions that allows authenticated users with zero accessible projects to write task_positions rows for all tasks instance-wide. Attackers can delete their Inbox after repointing default_project_id, then create empty-filter saved filters to persist cross-tenant references and amplify writes for denial of service. |
| Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to 2026.9.0, 2026.8.1, 2026.7.3, and 2026.1.9, sites with secure uploads enabled did not reconcile existing upload security metadata when a previously public category became read-restricted or when category permissions changed during a bulk import. Media and attachments uploaded while the category was public retained a public accessibility flag and remained reachable by anonymous users through their short upload URLs, including uploads associated with deleted topics. This issue is fixed in versions 2026.9.0, 2026.8.1, 2026.7.3, and 2026.1.9. |
| Improper authorization in Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) allows an authorized attacker to perform tampering locally. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.99 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.3-alpha.2 evaluates checks against the target account during a user update before authorizing the caller, and reflects their outcome in the response. An unauthorized caller, with or without a session, can confirm guessed usernames or emails and, when passwordPolicy.maxPasswordHistory or doNotAllowUsername is set, guessed current or previous passwords, bypassing account lockout. |
| ColdFusion is affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_vti: set netns_immutable on the fallback device.
john1988 and Noam Rathaus reported that vti6_init_net() does not set the
netns_immutable flag on the per-netns fallback tunnel device (ip6_vti0).
Other similar tunnel drivers (like ip6_tunnel, sit, ip6_gre, and ip_tunnel)
correctly set this flag during their fallback device initialization to
prevent them from being moved to another network namespace. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink
A tunnel changelink() operates on at most two netns, dev_net(dev) and
the sticky underlay netns vxlan->net. They differ once the device is
created in or moved to a netns other than the one the request runs in.
The rtnl changelink path checks CAP_NET_ADMIN only against dev_net(dev),
so a caller privileged there but not in vxlan->net can rewrite a vxlan
device whose underlay lives in vxlan->net.
vxlan_changelink() validates and applies the new configuration against
vxlan->net (vxlan_config_validate(vxlan->net, ...)) and can reopen the
underlay socket in that netns, so the same reasoning as the tunnel
changelink series applies here.
Gate vxlan_changelink() with rtnl_dev_link_net_capable(), at the top of
the op before any attribute is parsed, matching ipgre_changelink() and
the rest of the "require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for
changelink" series.

| Camunda 7.24.0 before 7.24.14 and 7.23.0 before 7.23.17 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the Cockpit webapp that allows authenticated attackers to bypass permission checks due to an inverted comparison logic in AbstractCockpitPluginResource.isPermissionDisabled(). Attackers with minimal Cockpit access can exploit a non-empty disabledPermissions configuration to read all process instances, process definitions, and incidents engine-wide without triggering any logging, regardless of their actual data grants. |
| FOSSBilling is an open source billing and client-management platform. From 0.8.4 until 0.8.6, hasManagePermission fails open for inactive non-core modules because its early return on !isExtensionActive skips the module-access and manage_settings checks. A low-privileged staff account with module-level extension access targets a deactivated non-core module through extension/config_get or extension/config_save. The account can call api/admin/extension/config_get or api/admin/extension/config_save for a deactivated non-core module to read decrypted retained extension secrets and overwrite stored extension configuration. The getConfig function returns the decrypted stored configuration despite the module's inactive state. This residual path remained after the earlier CVE-2026-62962 authorization fix. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.6. |
| Deleting a label compared the ID of the repository in the request against the organization ID of organization labels, and the two ID sequences overlap. A user with write access to the issues of a repository could therefore delete the labels of an organization that has the same numeric ID as that repository. Labels are now deleted only within their own repository or organization. |
| Netgate pfSense CE through 2.9.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows read-only WebGUI users to replace config.xml because config_restore() and config_install() ignore the 'User - Config: Deny Config Write' privilege. Attackers holding page privileges for services_acb.php, uploadconfig.php, diag_confbak.php, or diag_backup.php can install a chosen config.xml to gain root-level code execution after reload or reboot. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ppp: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in target netns for unattached ioctls
/dev/ppp open is currently authorized against file->f_cred->user_ns,
while unattached administrative ioctls operate on current->nsproxy->net_ns.
As a result, a local unprivileged user can create a new user namespace
with CLONE_NEWUSER, gain CAP_NET_ADMIN only in that new user namespace,
and still issue PPPIOCNEWUNIT, PPPIOCATTACH, or PPPIOCATTCHAN against
an inherited network namespace.
Require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the user namespace that owns the target network
namespace before handling unattached PPP administrative ioctls.
This preserves normal pppd operation in the network namespace it is
actually privileged in, while rejecting the userns-only inherited-netns
case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fanotify: fix false positive on permission events
fsnotify_get_mark_safe() may return false for a mark on an unrelated group,
which results in bypassing the permission check.
Fix by skipping over detached marks that are not in the current group. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: SMP: force responder MITM requirements before building the pairing response
smp_cmd_pairing_req() currently builds the pairing response from the
initiator auth_req before enforcing the local BT_SECURITY_HIGH
requirement. If the initiator omits SMP_AUTH_MITM, the response can
also omit it even though the local side still requires MITM.
tk_request() then sees an auth value without SMP_AUTH_MITM and may
select JUST_CFM, making method selection inconsistent with the pairing
policy the responder already enforces.
When the local side requires HIGH security, first verify that MITM can
be achieved from the IO capabilities and then force SMP_AUTH_MITM in the
response in both rsp.auth_req and auth. This keeps the responder auth bits
and later method selection aligned. |
| OneUptime 14.0.2 before 14.0.69 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated project members to act on clusters outside their scope by exploiting project-wide permission checks. Attackers can call the AI access test, agent reset, kubectl plan approval and incident AI conversation features to learn agent RBAC permissions, disconnect agents, approve kubectl changes, or run commands on unauthorized resources. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFSD: NFSv4 file creation neglects setting ACL
An NFSv4 client that sets an ACL with a named principal during file
creation retrieves the ACL afterwards, and finds that it is only a
default ACL (based on the mode bits) and not the ACL that was
requested during file creation. This violates RFC 8881 section
6.4.1.3: "the ACL attribute is set as given".
The issue occurs in nfsd_create_setattr(), which calls
nfsd_attrs_valid() to determine whether to call nfsd_setattr().
However, nfsd_attrs_valid() checks only for iattr changes and
security labels, but not POSIX ACLs. When only an ACL is present,
the function returns false, nfsd_setattr() is skipped, and the
POSIX ACL is never applied to the inode.
Subsequently, when the client retrieves the ACL, the server finds
no POSIX ACL on the inode and returns one generated from the file's
mode bits rather than returning the originally-specified ACL. |
| Incorrect authorization in Windows SMB Client allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| Coder from 2.30.0 before 2.34.8 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the provisioner daemon DownloadFile gRPC handler that allows authenticated provisioner daemons to download other organizations' cached Terraform module archives. Attackers with an org-scoped provisioner key and a known file UUID can retrieve module source code exposing infrastructure topology or embedded secrets. |
| A vulnerability has been found in David-Crty Databasement up to 1.8.1. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file app/Http/Requests/Api/V1/SaveScheduledRestoreRequest.php of the component Scheduled Restore. Such manipulation of the argument schema_name leads to missing authorization. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.8.2 addresses this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| A vulnerability in Apache Answer.
This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2.
The question operation controller gates hide/show operations on the wrong permission check result (the unpin permission instead of the hide permission), so in custom role configurations that separate these permissions, a user granted only question.unpin can hide or restore questions without holding question.hide or question.show.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue. |
