CVSS v3.1 |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) Miniport Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| An unauthenticated memory corruption vulnerability exists in a service accessed via the PAPI protocol in AOS-8 that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a denial of service attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to disrupt the availability of the affected service. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Client License Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Portable Device MTP Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges with a physical attack. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Universal Disk Format File System Driver (UDFS) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Remote Desktop Display Driver allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix sched scan IE sizing
Scheduled scan built the probe request before iwl_mvm_scan_fits(),
so oversized IEs could be copied into the fixed preq buffer before
length validation. Move iwl_mvm_build_scan_probe() after the fits
check.
Also advertise max_sched_scan_ie_len using iwl_mvm_max_scan_ie_len()
so userspace limits account for driver-inserted DS/TPC bytes. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Cryptographic Services allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Buffer over-read in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: em_text: reject unterminated algo before autoload
This is a follow-up to commit 9c572a83037a ("net/sched: fix potential
stack infoleak in em_text_dump()"), which zero-initialised the dump-side
struct. Sashiko pointed at a pre-existing bug that exposed the change-side
input-validation gap open.
em_text_change() casts the raw netlink attribute payload to struct
tcf_em_text and passes conf->algo, a 16-byte array with no enforced NUL
terminator, to textsearch_prepare(). On the TS_AUTOLOAD retry
textsearch_prepare() calls request_module("ts_%s", algo); vsnprintf()
walks %s until it finds a NUL, so an algo[] with no NUL reads past the
array into the adjacent struct fields and payload and feeds those bytes
to the usermode helper command line. This is an out-of-bounds read and
a kernel memory disclosure.
Reject the attribute when no NUL exists within TC_EM_TEXT_ALGOSIZ bytes,
matching the check xt_string has had since 3ab720881b6e.
Conditions to recreate the bug:
- CAP_NET_ADMIN on the target netns (namespace-local via unshare -Urn
is enough)
- install clsact on an interface, then add a basic filter with one text
ematch whose algo[] is 16 bytes with no NUL (e.g. "A"*16) and
pattern_len at least 1
- the add fails with -ENOENT and the kernel invokes modprobe with a
module name made of "ts_" plus the 16 bytes and the adjacent payload |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-multipath: set BLK_FEAT_ZONED only after the zone info is known
The namespace head is marked zoned at allocation time based only on the
command set identifier. If the zone info query reports a zero zone size,
the path namespace is registered without zoned limits while the head
still advertises the zoned capability with a zone size of zero, and
reporting zones or writing to the head then shifts by ilog2(0).
Drop the zoned feature from the head allocation and let the head limits
refresh stack it in from the path namespace instead. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tpm: fix off-by-four bounds check in tpm2_get_random()
When the response carries the TPM2_ST_SESSIONS tag, tpm2_get_random()
skips the 4-byte parameter size field before locating the random data,
but the bounds check still validates the response length against
TPM_HEADER_SIZE. A truncated response can pass the check and make
memcpy() read up to 4 bytes past the response end, so stale buffer
contents end up in the caller's random bytes.
Fix this by checking the response length against 'offset', which
already includes the skipped parameter size field. |
