| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tipc: Dont send random pad bytes in RESET/ACTIVATE messages
The interface name is passed in a fixed length (TIPC_MAX_IF_NAME) buffer.
Replace the strcpy(data, l->if_name) with memcpy() so that the
pad bytes are actually written (l->if_name[] is zero padded)
rather than sending random bytes from the skb to the remote system.
Replace two other strcpy() with strscpy(). |
A segment fault (SEGV) flaw was found in libtiff that could be triggered by passing a crafted tiff file to the TIFFReadRGBATileExt() API. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause a heap-buffer overflow, leading to a denial of service.
Memory corruption in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.73 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Echo is a Go web framework. From 5.0.0 until 5.4.1, Echo v5's ExtractIPFromRealIPHeader validates whether the client-supplied X-Real-IP value belongs to a trusted range instead of validating the direct network peer. A client reaching Echo directly, or through a proxy that preserves the header, can supply a loopback or private address and have Context.RealIP return that spoofed identity. Applications using the extractor for IP allowlists, rate limiting, audit logs, or forwarding headers can consequently trust an attacker-controlled address; the default direct extractor and Echo v4 are unaffected. This issue is fixed in 5.4.1.
An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. Mounting a maliciously crafted disk image may cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory.
Echo is a Go web framework. From 4.0.0 until 4.16.1 and 5.4.1, Echo's Proxy middleware selects a raw tunnel from a client WebSocket upgrade request before verifying that the configured upstream accepted the upgrade. If the upstream rejects the upgrade with an ordinary keep-alive response, later HTTP requests on the connection are sent directly to that upstream without passing through Echo's router or route-specific middleware. This can bypass authentication or authorization enforced only by Echo routes, but requires an accessible proxy route, a cooperating rejected-upgrade response, and a target without independent upstream authorization. This issue is fixed in 4.16.1 and 5.4.1.
Echo is a Go web framework. From 5.0.0 until 5.4.1, Echo v5's BodyDump middleware can discard a BodyLimit overflow error for an unknown-length request when BodyDump's capture limit is below the BodyLimit threshold. BodyDump drains the remaining body while ignoring read errors and replaces it with the captured prefix, so an HTTP/1.1 chunked request can be truncated and processed successfully even though the original body exceeded the configured limit. Known-length requests rejected before BodyDump runs are unaffected, and the issue does not establish a general authentication bypass or denial of service. This issue is fixed in 5.4.1.
Vulnerability in the Order Capture product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Order Capture. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Order Capture. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.2 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Jenkins 2.587 and earlier, LTS 2.580.1 and earlier does not restrict item types in collections after deserialization, allowing attackers with access to POST config.xml API endpoints to submit crafted `config.xml` files that can lead to, e.g., stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities.
