| Missing Authorization vulnerability in ThimPress LearnPress learnpress allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects LearnPress: from n/a through 4.4.11. |
| A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in WP Chill Gallery PhotoBlocks photoblocks-grid-gallery allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Gallery PhotoBlocks: from n/a through 1.3.7. |
| A flaw was found in device-mapper-multipath. A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds read by sending a command with a format string ending in a trailing percent character to the multipath daemon. This issue can allow the user to expose unintended daemon memory, leading to information disclosure, or cause the daemon to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in VillaTheme Customer Coupons for WooCommerce woo-customer-coupons allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Customer Coupons for WooCommerce: from n/a through 1.3.14. |
| markdown-it is a Markdown parser. Prior to 14.3.3 and 15.0.3, when the html option or commonmark preset is enabled and the constructs occur inside a paragraph, attacker-controlled Markdown containing repeated unterminated inline HTML comments, processing instructions, declarations, or CDATA sections reaches src/rules_inline/html_inline.ts. Its HTML_TAG_RE match searches the remaining suffix for the appropriate terminator; when no terminator is present, parsing advances to the next opener and repeats the match over overlapping input, causing quadratic processing and denial of service through event-loop blocking or an unresponsive browser main thread. HTML blocks and the default HTML-disabled configuration are not affected by these payloads. This issue is fixed in versions 14.3.3 and 15.0.3. |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream.
Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1. |
| In Eclipse OpenJ9 versions prior to 0.63.0, the JITServer component fails to perform cross-field validation on attacker-controlled `_size`, `_paddingSize`, and `_dataOffset` fields during `DataDescriptor` message deserialization. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a crafted network payload that triggers an unsigned integer underflow in `DataDescriptor::getPayloadSize()` and `DataDescriptor::getNextDescriptor()`. This results in an out-of-bounds heap read and an immediate process crash (SIGSEGV), causing a denial of service. |
| In Eclipse OpenJ9 versions prior to 0.63.0, the JITServer component is vulnerable to a pre-authentication remote denial of service. When processing the initial 4-byte length field of an incoming TCP connection, an integer overflow in `MessageBuffer::computeRequiredCapacity()` causes the receiving compilation worker thread to enter an infinite loop consuming ~100% CPU. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by opening a small number of crafted TCP connections to exhaust the entire worker thread pool, silently halting compilation services for all connected client JVMs. |
| In Eclipse OpenJ9 versions up to 0.63.0, the JITServer component is vulnerable to denial of service due to improper boundary checks during protocol message and reply handling. An unauthenticated remote attacker or malicious JITServer can transmit malformed network payloads that cause out-of-bounds heap reads, immediately crashing the JITServer daemon or client JVM process via a segmentation fault (SIGSEGV). |
| Cloud Commander (cloudcmd) versions 19.20.2 through 19.21.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/pack endpoint where the onGET handler at server/rest/index.js:130 calls the unguarded root() function instead of the root.resolve() validation wrapper used elsewhere. Attackers can send percent-encoded directory traversal sequences in the pack request path to read arbitrary files outside the configured --root directory, such as /etc/passwd or SSH private keys, which are archived and streamed back as a downloadable tar.gz file. |
| Finsys Dockhand through 1.0.18 contains an LDAP injection vulnerability in the tryLdapAuth function in src/lib/server/auth.ts, which inserts the login username into the LDAP search filter without escaping wildcard characters. Unauthenticated attackers can submit incremental wildcard patterns such as 'a*' to /api/auth/login and measure response timing to enumerate valid LDAP usernames while evading per-username rate limiting. |
| The aBlocks – Gutenberg Blocks, User Dashboard Builder, Popup Builder, Form Builder & Animation Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.17.0 via the `/ablocks/v1/form-builder/registration` REST endpoint. The vulnerability exists because the endpoint is registered with `permission_callback => __return_true` and the `register()` handler reads `roleSlug` directly from attacker-controlled block attributes in `post_content` without ever verifying that the block's `formType` is `registration` — a condition that `RegistrationFormSanitizer::verify()` imposes only at save-time, meaning a Contributor can preserve an arbitrary `roleSlug` by saving a block with `formType='login'` and then triggering the endpoint via a valid `wp_rest` nonce and post-ownership check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to escalate their WordPress role to Editor or any other non-administrator role and receive a fully authenticated session at the elevated privilege level via `WP_User::set_role()` and `wp_set_auth_cookie()`. Escalation is bounded below administrator-tier roles because `is_safe_registration_role()` rejects any role holding `manage_options`, `edit_users`, `delete_users`, `create_users`, `promote_users`, or `edit_theme_options`, meaning the highest practically reachable role on a standard WordPress installation is Editor. |
| goose from 1.28.0 before 1.44.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows tools to run without user approval in Manual Approval mode because persisted read-only annotations are never cleared by update_goose_mode. After a session uses Smart Approval mode, prompt-injected calls to tools annotated readOnlyHint: true execute without prompting, bypassing the user's selected approval mode in PermissionInspector::inspect. |
| The package github.com/gomarkdown/markdown is a Go library for parsing Markdown text and rendering as HTML. Prior to 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971, parser.IsSafeURL in parser/parser.go slices url[:nPath] before the len(url) >= nPath guard. A short destination causes a slice-bounds panic when the loop reaches a relative-path prefix for which len(url) < nPath and cap(url) < nPath. The one-byte destination / is an explicit non-panic counterexample because it matches the first valid path and returns before a longer prefix is sliced. Demonstrated panic cases include empty, ., and .. destinations under those conditions. The panic is reachable when markdown.ToHTML renders untrusted Markdown with html.Safelink enabled, including an empty link destination, and is also reachable by callers that pass a short attacker-controlled URL directly to the exported parser.IsSafeURL function. An uncaught panic can terminate the calling process and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 0.0.0-20260724235538-61af6e1e6971. |
| fast-toml through 0.5.4 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability that allows attackers to modify Object.prototype by supplying TOML containing __proto__, constructor or prototype key segments. Attackers can pass [__proto__] or [constructor.prototype] table headers or __proto__.x dotted keys to parse() to pollute all objects, causing denial of service or authorization bypass. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/amdxdna: put the chained BO when its mapping fails
amdxdna_cmd_set_error() looks up the first BO of a command chain, which
takes a reference, and drops it at the end of the function. The mapping of
that BO is established in between, and the failure path returns without the
put, so the reference is leaked.
Ordinary use does not reach it. The chain has been submitted before any of
this runs, so aie2_cmdlist_fill_slot() has already called
amdxdna_cmd_get_op() on that BO and amdxdna_gem_vmap() has cached its
address. What makes it reachable is that the BO is resolved again by
handle here, and the handle is userspace's to recycle: closing it after
submission and importing a dma-buf whose exporter implements no vmap onto
the same id leaves amdxdna_gem_get_obj() returning an object this cannot
map, since prime_import() types every import AMDXDNA_BO_SHARE. |
| OpenJPEG 2.4.0 through 2.5.4, and git master through commit 8314119b, contains an out-of-bounds read and write in opj_dwt_encode_and_deinterleave_v() in src/lib/openjp2/dwt.c. This allows an attacker to cause a denial of service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands
A chain whose command_count is zero passes the payload length check,
because struct_size(payload, data, 0) is just the header. The fill loop
then does not run, so offset stays zero and the request is submitted with
a zero-length buffer.
On firmware without AIE2_NPU_COMMAND that ends at the opcode check, since
op is still ERT_INVALID_CMD and aie2_get_chain_msg_op() answers
MSG_OP_MAX_OPCODE. aie2_get_npu_chain_msg_op() answers
MSG_OP_CHAIN_EXEC_NPU whatever it is given, so there the submission
continues to drm_clflush_virt_range(cmd_buf, 0), which reads the byte
before the buffer and faults on the vmap guard page. EXEC_CMD is
reachable by any process that can open the render node.
Reject the request instead. |
