The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The The WordPress Popular Posts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 7.1.0. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
| SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. In versions prior to 1.13.4, the web user interface for SillyTavern is susceptible to DNS rebinding, allowing attackers to perform actions like install malicious extensions, read chats, inject arbitrary HTML for phishing attacks, etc. The vulnerability has been patched in the version 1.13.4 by introducing a server configuration setting that enables a validation of host names in inbound HTTP requests according to the provided list of allowed hosts: `hostWhitelist.enabled` in config.yaml file or `SILLYTAVERN_HOSTWHITELIST_ENABLED` environment variable. While the setting is disabled by default to honor a wide variety of existing user configurations and maintain backwards compatibility, existing and new users are encouraged to review their server configurations and apply necessary changes to their setup, especially if hosting over the local network while not using SSL. |
| AIRI is a self-hosted, artificial intelligence based Grok Companion. In v0.7.2-beta.2 in the `packages/stage-ui/src/components/MarkdownRenderer.vue` path, the Markdown content is processed using the useMarkdown composable, and the processed HTML is rendered directly into the DOM using v-html. An attacker creates a card file containing malicious HTML/JavaScript, then simply processes it using the highlightTagToHtml function (which simply replaces template tags without HTML escaping), and then directly renders it using v-html, leading to cross-site scripting (XSS). The project also exposes the Tauri API, which can be called from the frontend. The MCP plugin exposes a command execution interface function in `crates/tauri-plugin-mcp/src/lib.rs`. This allows arbitrary command execution. `connect_server` directly passes the user-supplied `command` and `args` parameters to `Command::new(command).args(args)` without any input validation or whitelisting. Thus, the previous XSS exploit could achieve command execution through this interface. v0.7.2-beta.3 fixes the issue. |
| User-controlled input flows to an unsafe implementation of a dynamic Function constructor, allowing network attackers to run arbitrary unsandboxed JS code in the context of the host, by sending a simple POST request. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. In versions below 35.7.5, 36.0.0-alpha.1 through 36.8.0, 37.0.0-alpha.1 through 37.3.1 and 38.0.0-alpha.1 through 38.0.0-beta.6, ASAR Integrity Bypass via resource modification. This only impacts apps that have the embeddedAsarIntegrityValidation and onlyLoadAppFromAsar fuses enabled. Apps without these fuses enabled are not impacted. This issue is fixed in versions 35.7.5, 36.8.1, 37.3.1 and 38.0.0-beta.6. |
| HomeAssistant-Tapo-Control offers Control for Tapo cameras as a Home Assistant component. Prior to commit 2a3b80f, there is a code injection vulnerability in the GitHub Actions workflow .github/workflows/issues.yml. It does not affect users of the Home Assistant integration itself — it only impacts the GitHub Actions environment for this repository. The vulnerable workflow directly inserted user-controlled content from the issue body (github.event.issue.body) into a Bash conditional without proper sanitization. A malicious GitHub user could craft an issue body that executes arbitrary commands on the GitHub Actions runner in a privileged context whenever an issue is opened. The potential impact is limited to the repository’s CI/CD environment, which could allow access to repository contents or GitHub Actions secrets. This issue has been patched via commit 2a3b80f. Workarounds involve disabling the affected workflow (issues.yml), replacing the unsafe Bash comparison with a safe quoted grep (or a pure GitHub Actions expression check), or ensuring minimal permissions in workflows (permissions: block) to reduce possible impact. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in melMass comfy_mtb up to 0.1.4. Affected by this vulnerability is the function run_command of the file comfy_mtb/endpoint.py of the component Dependency Handler. The manipulation leads to code injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The patch is named d6e004cce2c32f8e48b868e66b89f82da4887dc3. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| A code injection vulnerability that permits a low-privileged user to upload arbitrary files to the server, leading to remote code execution on VSPC server. |
| A code injection vulnerability that allows a low-privileged user with REST API access granted to remotely upload arbitrary files to the VSPC server using REST API, leading to remote code execution on VSPC server. |
| mediDOK before 2.5.18.43 allows remote attackers to achieve remote code execution on a target system via deserialization of untrusted data. |
| Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability in OpenText™ Carbonite Safe Server Backup allows Code Injection.
The vulnerability could be exploited through an open port, potentially allowing unauthorized access.
This issue affects Carbonite Safe Server Backup: through 6.8.3. |
| Code Execution via Malicious Files: Attackers can create specially crafted files with embedded code that may execute without adequate security validation, potentially leading to system compromise.
Sandbox Bypass Vulnerability: A flaw in the TERR security mechanism allows attackers to bypass sandbox restrictions, enabling the execution of untrusted code without appropriate controls. |
| md-to-pdf is a CLI tool for converting Markdown files to PDF using Node.js and headless Chrome. Prior to version 5.2.5, a Markdown front-matter block that contains JavaScript delimiter causes the JS engine in gray-matter library to execute arbitrary code in the Markdown to PDF converter process of md-to-pdf library, resulting in remote code execution. This issue has been patched in version 5.2.5. |
| The WP Latest Posts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.7. This is due to the plugin allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a user-supplied value prior to using that value in a call to do_shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
| The Simple Basic Contact Form plugin for WordPress for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 20240502. This allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The severity and exploitability depends on the functionality of other plugins installed in the environment. |
| An issue in Arris NVG443B 9.3.0h3d36 allows a physically proximate attacker to execute arbitrary code via the cshell login component. |
| OpenAM is an open access management solution. In versions 15.0.3 and prior, the `getCustomLoginUrlTemplate` method in RealmOAuth2ProviderSettings.java is vulnerable to template injection due to its usage of user input. Although the developer intended to implement a custom URL for handling login to override the default OpenAM login, they did not restrict the `CustomLoginUrlTemplate`, allowing it to be set freely. Commit fcb8432aa77d5b2e147624fe954cb150c568e0b8 introduces `TemplateClassResolver.SAFER_RESOLVER` to disable the resolution of commonly exploited classes in FreeMarker template injection. As of time of publication, this fix is expected to be part of version 15.0.4. |
| The Responsive Contact Form Builder & Lead Generation Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.1. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. |
