CVSS v3.1 |
PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE).
PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE).
An Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') [CWE-22] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiOS 7.4.0 through 7.4.9, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiOS 7.0 all versions, FortiOS 6.4 all versions, FortiPAM 1.7.0, FortiPAM 1.6 all versions, FortiPAM 1.5 all versions, FortiPAM 1.4 all versions, FortiPAM 1.3 all versions, FortiPAM 1.2 all versions, FortiPAM 1.1 all versions, FortiPAM 1.0 all versions, FortiProxy 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiProxy 7.4.0 through 7.4.11, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions, FortiProxy 7.0 all versions, FortiSwitchManager 7.2.0 through 7.2.7, FortiSwitchManager 7.0.0 through 7.0.6 may allow an authenticated attacker with admin profile and at least read-write permissions to write or delete arbitrary files via specific CLI commands.
There exists a vulnerability in SQLite versions before 3.50.2 where the number of aggregate terms could exceed the number of columns available. This could lead to a memory corruption issue. We recommend upgrading to version 3.50.2 or above.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly validate or sanitize input in device group or facility names processed during the Bulk Export workflow. This could allow an authenticated attacker with specific privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the underlying database.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly validate or sanitize input in facility names processed during the Bulk Import/Export workflow. This could allow an authenticated attacker with specific privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the underlying database.
libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequenttransfers to reuse, if one of them matches the setup.Due to errors in the logic, the config matching function did not take 'issuercert' into account and it compared the involved paths *case insensitively*,which could lead to libcurl reusing wrong connections.File paths are, or can be, case sensitive on many systems but not all, and caneven vary depending on used file systems. The comparison also didn't include the 'issuer cert' which a transfer can setto qualify how to verify the server certificate.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly perform server-side authorization checks for requests to modify the state of scheduled actions. This could allow an authenticated attacker with minimal privileges to retry, stop, or delete scheduled tasks without proper authorization.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly restrict access to database queries used for subnet management. This could allow an authenticated attacker to read, modify, or delete subnet configurations, leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly restrict access to sensitive configuration items via specific database queries. This could allow an authenticated attacker to retrieve administrative credentials for various internal systems, leading to unauthorized information disclosure and privilege escalation.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly restrict access to various database queries, allowing users to retrieve system-wide information that is not intended for their privilege level. This could allow an authenticated attacker to gather sensitive information about the system's infrastructure, including details on all devices, substations, users, and scheduled activities.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly validate or sanitize the filename of firmware files uploaded to the system. This could allow an authenticated attacker with specific privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the underlying database.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly validate or sanitize input in the Value field of notification conditions processed during the Notification Profile configuration. This could allow an authenticated attacker with specific privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the underlying database.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly validate or sanitize input in the Name and Value fields for custom file labels. This could allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary SQL commands on the underlying database.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly perform authorization checks for device disconnection requests. This could allow an authenticated attacker with minimal privileges to disconnect active sessions of other users, including administrators, leading to a denial of service.
A vulnerability has been identified in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW (All versions < V6.0). Affected devices do not properly perform server-side authorization checks for requests to schedule special operations. This could allow an authenticated attacker with minimal privileges to schedule unauthorized operations on devices.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.3, FortiOS 7.4.0 through 7.4.8, FortiOS 7.2.0 through 7.2.11, FortiOS 7.0.0 through 7.0.17, FortiOS 6.4 all versions, FortiSwitchManager 7.2.0 through 7.2.6, FortiSwitchManager 7.0.0 through 7.0.5 allows attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via specially crafted packets
In Sudo through 1.9.17p2 before 3e474c2, a failure of a setuid, setgid, or setgroups call, during a privilege drop before running the mailer, is not a fatal error and can lead to privilege escalation.
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O with Kernel 5.0 before 05.08.42, Kernel 5.1 before 05.16.42, Kernel 5.2 before 05.26.42, Kernel 5.3 before 05.35.42, Kernel 5.4 before 05.42.51, and Kernel 5.5 before 05.50.51. An SMM memory corruption vulnerability in FvbServicesRuntimeDxe allows a possible attacker to write fixed or predictable data to SMRAM. Exploiting this issue could lead to escalating privileges to SMM.
